If you haven’t visited Saffrontree lately, this is a good time. CROCUS-2010 – a week long celebration of reading culturally unique stories – is in full swing. As the site rightfully claims, it is a potpourri of book reviews and literary resources for children. Excellent resource for folks who are looking for selected books with reviews from book enthusiasts and their kids reactions! Especially, if you are looking for books with anything “Indian”.

Was at Mindgym preschool for my daughter’s friend’s birthday party this weekend and was all smiles to see a big banner of CROCUS 2010 at their entry door. I don’t contribute there, but some of the folks who write there are real-life friends. Just knowing these guys was reason enough for me to be gleaming with pride. You guys ROCK!
